BYD Reveals New Qin Max EV
BYD has released new images of the Qin Max EV, a “completely different new B-segment fast-charging sedan,” ahead of its official launch next month. The Qin Max will join BYD’s popular Qin lineup as a bigger sibling to the Qin L, a Tesla Model 3-sized electric sedan.
According to Lu Tian, the general manager of BYD’s Dynasty series, the Qin Max has officially begun arriving at dealerships ahead of its planned launch next month. The new model is positioned above the Qin L and is designed for young people, featuring BYD’s Super Hybrid DM technology.

Hyundai Reveals New 7-Seat Electric Minivan Concept
Hyundai has unveiled the new Neira Concept, a seven-seat electric minivan, at the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The Neira Concept will be produced locally in Indonesia, starting by the end of 2026, and is nearly identical to the Kia Carens Clavis EV, an electric MPV that launched in India last year.
